For over ten years before leaving IBM in September, 2016, I successfully managed hundreds of the contract initiation, transition and steady-state delivery challenges that commence the day that outsourcing contracts are signed. I ensured that clients’ infrastructure, business process and end-user services were seamlessly transitioned to IBM, that high levels of planning, governance, controls and global risk management were put in place, that costs of delivery were minimized and that the right skills were brought to meet client needs at the right place and at the right time anywhere in the world. My portfolio was cross-sectoral and included some of the largest organizations in North America.
I supported the customer-facing account and service line leadership at IBM who were tasked with revenue growth, customer satisfaction, delivery excellence and profitability. I learned how to drive executive-level performance while adapting to constant, disruptive change from both inside and outside the organization.
In an earlier role at IBM, I built and led highly successful business and IT strategy consulting practices and led high-performance teams. Before joining IBM, I held senior financial roles in the hospitality and real-estate sectors, established and led a successful boutique consulting group and was a Chartered Accountant in public practice.
